Scope of the position:
Provide
Quality Assurance
expertise to the Quality department to ensure the Quality System is of the highest standard. Safeguard the quality of all products produced through NCR/ CAPA and complaint investigations to ensure all customer & regulatory requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as Customer Quality Contact for automotive and industrial customers.
Work together with the new product development team to introduce new products which meet customer requirements and as well managing changes to existing products in accordance with quality management system Complete PPAP & APQP activities in line with customer requirements.
Carry out 8D
problem solving
to resolve customer  FMEA’s and other preventative tools within the plant as part of the new product introduction process.
Drive and co-ordinate multi-disciplinary teams on
Continuous Improvement
activities within the company.
What we are looking for:
Minimum of 4 yrs. experience in manufacturing with direct experience in quality system compliance.
A 4-yr engineering degree or substitute experience; graduate degree in engineering, technical or management discipline is preferred. Ability to read blueprints and other technical documents. Understanding of ANSI/ISO drawing standards and GD&T dimensioning required. Demonstrated knowledge and experience of IATF 16949 standard including core tools such as APQP, SPC, PFMEA Excellent verbal and written
communication skills
and the ability to be a great team player
