Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer specializing in Cards Switching and Payments Applications to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have over two decades of hands-on experience in automation testing with in-depth knowledge of BASE24-eps, UPF, and other payments protocols. The role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and a passion for quality assurance within high-volume transaction environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead quality engineering activities for cards switching applications including BASE24-eps and UPF.
Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts for payment processing systems using tools aligned with Agile methodologies.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and security teams to ensure quality delivery of payment application solutions.
Review and validate functional and technical requirements using BABOK and Design Thinking principles.
Ensure compliance with PCI, ISO8583, AS2805, and ISO20022 standards.
Provide SME-level input on CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management) and network security best practices.
Participate in defect triage meetings and work with development teams to ensure prompt resolution.
Create test reports, documentation, and maintain traceability using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and IBM Rational DOORS.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the QA process.
Qualifications & Specializations:
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certifications or training in Business Analysis (BABOK), Design Thinking, or CIAM is highly desirable.
