Title: Senior Quality Engineer

Participate in investigations to eliminate causes of quality problems and verify effectiveness of corrective actions
Use statistical tools to analyze data, make acceptance decisions, identify trends, and improve process capability (Six Sigma, SPC, DOE)
Compile and analyze quality system metrics (e.g. management review, compliance metrics, quality assurance and quality control data etc.) to ensure key process indicators are identified, measured and action driven
Eliminate process variation and nonconformities through creative solutions
Develop and maintain quality documentation, including plans, procedures, and work instructions
Perform benchmarking and other forms of advanced analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved
Utilize risk management tools and aids for use by the organization in accordance with documented procedures, including but not limited to FMECA, Fault Tree Analysis, etc
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education/Training:
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline from an ABET accredited program required
ASQ certification required
ISO 9001 or AS9100D certification required
Experience:
5+ years of relevant experience required
Security:
Must be a US citizen
Candidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements:
Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Salary:
$130,000 – 145,000
