My client based in Mayo are looking to hire a Senior Quality Engineer as they expand operations.
The Role:
As the Senior Quality Engineer you will lead quality control. The role involves ensuring compliance with company and customer standards, enhancing process controls, supporting audits, managing supplier quality, and overseeing validation activities.
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with company policies and customer guidelines in managing quality control and assurance aspects of production and testing
Apply and uphold Customer and quality requirements, including updating procedures, work instructions, and forms, as well as reviewing customer specifications
Develop and enhance methods for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection.
Lead and participate in internal, external, customer, and regulatory quality audits. • Support supplier management activities, including supplier validation, auditing, and monitoring.
Assist with process validation activities, including analysing process control data and contributing to the development of protocols and reports.
Conduct material inspections and certification.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in quality engineering (Level 8), a related Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience demonstrating relevant skills and abilities
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment
Proficiency with ISO 9001 standards is required; experience with AS 9100 and ISO 13485 standards is preferred
Strong proficiency in computer applications related to quality, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and Minitab.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
