Job Summary:
The role involves updating and releasing all IOS internal documents according to YF and IOS requirements, supporting compliance with Customer Specific Requirements (CSRs), and acting as a certified internal auditor responsible for IOS and LPA audits per IATF and YFAI standards. The position requires promoting awareness of quality standards and acting as a lead auditor.
Essential functions:
Coordinate and communicate YF IOS, IATF, and CSR requirements, leading plant teams for compliance.
Support achievement and maintenance of YF IOS/IATF 16949 certifications and others like VDA, BIQS, CQC.
Develop and implement processes to maintain YF IOS/IATF 16949 standards.
Maintain local documents and ensure compliance with global, regional, and regulatory requirements.
Provide awareness and training to plant teams on updates to quality standards.
Manage audit schedules and support corrective actions.
Support corporate audits as Co-Auditor and Lead, with certification as IOS Lead Auditor.
Implement strategic quality plans and support training across departments.
Address non-conformities, coordinate resolution, and ensure sustainability of actions.
Coordinate management reviews and follow-up on issues.
Model adherence to quality standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Injection molding experience required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or related field; equivalent work experience considered.
5-9 years of experience in the automotive industry.
Willingness to travel and work at customer sites, including manufacturing plants.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of IATF 16949 and certification as Lead Auditor.
