I’m currently working with a growing manufacturing business in the Netherlands that is looking to strengthen its Quality team with a Senior Quality & Food Safety Specialist.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in maintaining and improving food safety and quality standards across multiple production sites.
What you’ll be doing:
- Acting as the site SME for HACCP and food safety programs
- Supporting and leading internal and external audits (customer, certification, regulatory)
- Driving compliance across FSSC22000, GMP+, and wider food safety standards
- Leading root cause investigations and CAPA activities
- Managing complaints and ensuring robust corrective actions
- Working closely with Operations and Engineering on continuous improvement initiatives
- Supporting SOP development and quality system improvements
What they’re looking for:
- Extensive experience in Quality / Food Safety within manufacturing or food production or Medical Devices
- Strong knowledge of HACCP (GMP+ / SKAL Bio is a plus)
- Experience with audits, CAPA, and quality systems
- Hands-on mindset and confident working cross-functionally
- Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or similar
