Position: Senior(Retired-) Railcar Maintenance Inspectors
Senior Railcar Maintenance Inspectors
Unified Industries Incorporated (UII) seeks Senior Railcar Maintenance Inspectors to support the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) for a full-time, temporary (4-5 weeks) position. The inspectors will perform evaluations of the shop’s maintenance procedures and will be observing the maintenance work tasks and how long each task takes. This role requires senior level inspectors that know the shops & maintenance practices.
The inspectors will work on a time study of the Periodic Inspection Tasks on the 3K, 6K, and 7K rail cars. The studies will be done at Alexandria, Shady Grove, West Falls Church, Dulles, and Greenbelt.
