Job Title:Senior Regional Manager- Quality Assurance
Job Scope: This individual will be responsible for leading the Regional Quality Assurance team, ensuring all Cordlife entities achieve and maintain the highest quality standards and necessary accreditations (e.g., AABB, ISO, FACT, CAP). Key responsibilities include establishing and harmonizing quality systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting risk management, overseeing regional quality teams, and driving continuous improvement through training and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Independent authority to maintain standards and regulatory compliance.
Review facilities’ compliance with Group policies and accreditation standards.
Develop and implement quality management strategies and plans.
Oversee the inspection of products to ensure adherence to established quality standards.
Establish and harmonize Group’s quality system and practices to improve standards across regional facilities.
Coordinate and support country quality teams to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
Work with country teams and management to monitor the Risk Register for each country.
Review and fine-tune the Group’s risk management framework and policies for effective implementation.
Oversee risk management policies and their implementation across the Group.
Perform regional facility assessments.
Determine analytical tools for statistical monitoring of Group quality activities.
Analyse and report on quality metrics to senior management.
Conduct Group QA reviews and quarterly Group Quality and Clinical sessions or as needed.
Inspect, monitor, and evaluate the performance of on-going QA projects.
Develop and implement quality-related training programs for quality teams, including regulatory and accreditation knowledge.
Facilitate training sessions to improve quality standards and mitigate quality-related issues.
Oversee the training and development of Country Quality Managers (QMs).
Assist Country Quality Managers on local government and regulatory compliance requirements.
Support country heads in aligning operational processes with Group’s quality and regulatory specifications.
Escalate critical risk events and deviations to the senior management.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Senior Management.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Medical Sciences, or related fields.
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the life sciences, cellular therapy, or related industries
Comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance standards and best practices
