Inspiring Lives, in Fayette, Iowa, is seeking a motivated Quality Assurance Specialist!
The Quality Assurance Specialist gathers, tracks, and organizes quality improvement documentation to measure and evaluate Inspiring Lives’ programs and identify training needs.
Responsibilities:
Request, track, organize, and store all quality improvement for the agency.
Develop spreadsheets and other handouts based on data submitted.
Develop presentation based on information gathered.
Conducts audits of files ensuring documentation includes necessary information in order to meet billing standards.
Assist with filing, copying, and other clerical duties.
Implement and maintain a system to organize documentation, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
Develop strategic plans to rectify indentified issues.
Develop quarterly reports based on data gathered.
Implement and communicate progress of QA strategic plan.
Work closely with the Training and Development Specialist to identify and address trainings.
Develop and present the QA report as the Chair of the QA Committee.
Track and trend client incident reports, reporting information to administration and the Safety/Infection Control committee
Qualifications
AA in Human Services (or related degree) plus one year of experience with HCBS Services, or
Three years of experience with HCBS Services, or
Three years of experience with quality improvement
