All About You:
Strong skills in testing UI applications and APIs.
Sound experience in in Java and hands-on experience in writing testing strategies; functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, black box testing, Automation, UAT
Strong skills in performing QA tasks viz. test planning, functional testing, debugging, defect reporting.
Experience of testing REST API endpoints, Web and Mobile based applications.
Sound knowledge of Test Automation tool stack viz. Java, TestNG, Cucumber, RestAssured Gitlab, Maven and Gradle.
Good knowledge and ability to work with Postman, Cucumber BDD, Gherkin, Maven, TestNG.
Exposure in building and automation frameworks using technologies: Java, JBehave.
Must Have an experience on Selenium or any open-source tool.
Knowledge of tracking tools: JIRA, Zephyr and Confluence is a must.
Ability to create good acceptance and integration test automation scripts and integrate with Continuous integration (Jenkins) and code coverage tools (Sonar)
Identifying Root Cause Analysis and Tracking the same.
Ensures team adherence to Quality Assurance policies, procedures and processes.
Good at problem-solving and interpersonal communication.
Demonstrates the ability to communicate application-level directions across departments.
Must have a desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality and reliability.
Successfully developed high quality test strategies and text execution, recognized test environment preparation needs.
Knowledge of performance and security testing
Exposure to Continuous Delivery and Integration
Requirements
What you will do:
Play a pivotal role in Agile teams in the continuous validation of web applications, APIs, and E2E testing of the software products to drive Quality, to build and ship better products.
Adheres to enterprise quality standards, processes, and tools.
Prepare comprehensive test scenarios, review test cases.
Perform functional testing in various test cycles functional, regression, sanity, UAT.
Responsible for developing and executing test plans and report results, independently generating test data for defined test cases and recognizing test environment preparation needs.
Develop Test Automation code for API and UI tests and monitor day-to-day test executions.
Update existing test plans and automated test scenarios to reflect new requirements.
Participates in project-level reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections, and conducts test reviews, including test plans, requirements, cases and automation coverage.
Participate in requirements review, story elaborations and testing activities.
Work closely with developers to identify code defects or regressions.
Perform Exploratory testing as required.
Share experience and insight by suggesting process improvements.
Perform demos of new product functionality to stakeholders
