Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Technician to support our quality assurance processes in a dynamic cosmetic manufacturing environment. The QA Technician will play a key role in ensuring that all raw materials, in-process batches, and finished products meet internal quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role is hands-on and requires collaboration with production, R&D, and packaging teams to uphold product integrity and GMP compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine quality checks on bulk batches, WIP (work-in-progress), and finished goods
Verify incoming raw materials and packaging components against specifications and COAs
Quarantine or reject materials not meeting quality standards
Maintain accurate and organized QA records (batch records, test logs, deviation reports, etc.)
Support batch release process with thorough documentation review
Ensure proper line clearance before and after production runs
Monitor and enforce GMP, sanitation, and hygiene practices on the production floor
Assist in investigating quality issues or deviations and contribute to corrective/preventive action plans
Prepare and organize stability samples as per stability protocols
Assist with tracking and monitoring test timelines
Report quality issues to QA Manager and support resolution
Work cross-functionally with production, compounding, and packaging to address issues proactively
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field preferred
1–3 years of experience in a quality assurance or manufacturing environment (cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or food industry a plus)
Knowledge of GMP, and cosmetic industry standards
Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment
Basic computer and data entry skills (Excel, QA software)
