Job Purpose:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Test Engineer with a strong background in the banking sector, particularly in loans and middleware development. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of banking applications.

Requirement Analysis & Test Planning:
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements
Identify and document testable requirements for comprehensive coverage
Develop detailed test plans and strategies, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing
Design and execute manual and automated test cases based on banking use cases
Prepare test data that mimics real-world banking scenarios
Perform tests for:
Core banking systems (T24, IST Switch)
Mobile banking platforms (Kony Platform)
Loans and other financial products
Identify, document, and track defects using test management tools
Conduct regression testing to ensure system stability after updates
Conduct load and stress testing to evaluate system resilience under peak conditions
Perform security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry security standards
Assist in UAT planning and execution with business users
Gather feedback and ensure identified issues are resolved before deployment
Ensure banking applications comply with regulatory standards
Continuously analyze and enhance testing processes and methodologies
Stay updated on the latest QA trends, tools, and best practices
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
4+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in the banking or financial sector
Strong understanding of banking products, particularly loans
Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
Knowledge of test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus
Skills Required:
