Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsible for all phases of physical, dimensional, and aesthetic evaluation and analysis of received goods produced.
Assures good quality according to the customer’s specifications.
Works closely with operations, Quality Assurance, and Research & Development to verify accuracy in formula specifications.
Maintains records for all bulk approvals.
Maintains and organizes retain samples.
Prepares COAs for customers.
Arranges and sends out customer samples for approval with associated paperwork.
Approves all Mast Global fragrances, maintains retains, COAs, and associated paperwork.
Interacts with management and customers to achieve high-quality goods.
Interfaces with all other departments in routine technical matters.
Understands, exercises, and enforces all cGMP and safety requirements and procedures.
Monitors and evaluates all documented test results and batch adjustments, recommending corrective action or change control as required.
Ongoing review of set processes and procedures, challenging the way Aware is conducting business, recommending and implementing improvements as identified.
Assists in managing and investigating all OOS and customer complaints.
Assists with quality-related audits.
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Maintains a clean and orderly work environment, observing all Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
Conducts any other tasks as assigned by upper management.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
5 years of experience in a fast-paced cGMP manufacturing environment and demonstrated consumer goods product knowledge in lieu of diploma.
Basic math skills including but not limited to: addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and percentages required.
Some statistical knowledge is preferred.
Must have proven ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and effective communication via email and phone.
Strong, consistent, reliable attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Flexibility to work overtime when necessary – including weekends.
