Job Description
Essential duties and responsibilities to include but are not limited to:
Responsible for all phases of physical, dimensional, and aesthetic evaluation and analysis of received goods produced
Assures good quality according to the customer’s specifications
Works closely with operations, Quality Assurance and Research & Development to verify accuracy in formula specifications
Maintains records for all bulk approvals
Maintains and organizes retain samples
Prepare COAs for customers
Arrange and send out customer samples for approval with associated paperwork
Approve all Mast Global fragrances, maintain retains, COAs and associated paperwork
Interact with management and customers to achieve high quality goods
Interface with all other departments in routine technical matters
Understand, exercise and enforce all cGMP and safety requirements and procedures
Monitor, and evaluate all documented test results, and batch adjustments, recommending corrective action or change control as required.
Ongoing review of set processes and procedures challenging the way Aware is conducting business. Recommending and implementing improvements as identified.
Assist in managing and investigating all OOS and customer complaints
Assist with quality related audits
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Maintains a clean and orderly work environment, observing all Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s)
Conduct any other tasks as assigned by upper management.
Requirements:
High school Diploma or GED preferred.
5 years-experience in a fast-paced cGMP manufacturing environment and demonstrated consumer goods product knowledge in lieu of diploma.
Basic Math skills including but not limited to: addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentages required.
Some statistical knowledge is preferred.
Must have proven ability to read, write and communicate in English.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and communicating effectively via email and phone.
Strong, Consistent, reliable attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Flexibility to work OT when necessary – including weekends.
