About the Opportunity
Jigsaw Notions is seeking experienced and security-cleared professionals across Test and Evaluation disciplines to support large-scale Government digital transformation programs. Key Roles and Responsibilities
Depending on the position level, responsibilities may include:
Leading or contributing to Verification & Validation (V&V) planning, execution, and reporting.
Creating test strategies, plans, procedures, and artefacts in accordance with best practice and Defence T&E frameworks.
Conducting Developmental, Acceptance, and Preview testing across infrastructure, applications, and systems-of-systems.
Managing test environments, tools, data, and documentation to ensure traceability and compliance.
Liaising with technical and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with capability outcomes.
Leading multidisciplinary test teams and providing oversight to junior team members.
Ensuring test activities are secure, auditable, and aligned with ITAR and relevant Defence standards.
Essential Skills and Experience
3+ years’ experience in test planning, execution, and reporting in Government, Defence or similarly complex environments.
Deep understanding of software and infrastructure testing across the lifecycle (including Agile/DevSecOps).
Strong experience with ICT systems, including compute, networking, security controls, and system integration.
Experience with testing mission-critical applications, ICT infrastructure, or software-defined environments.
Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., ALM, Octane).
Excellent documentation and communication skills, with a focus on process improvement and stakeholder engagement.
Desirable Skills and Experience
5+ years leading Test and Evaluation teams in technical or strategic capacities.
Exposure to Defence processes, artefacts, and compliance frameworks (e.g. ISM, ITAR).
Familiarity with Systems Engineering, Cyber T&E, or Software Defined Data Centre (SDDC) testing.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools in secure environments.
Security Requirements
Current NV1 clearance is essential, with the ability to upgrade to NV2.
