Senior Test Analyst – Finance & HR Systems
Location: Brisbane | Hybrid (4 days in office)

My client is seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst to support a major program of work focused on Finance and HR systems. This role is ideal for someone who has worked with platforms like SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, Workday, or Microsoft Dynamics 365, and has a strong background in end-to-end and user acceptance testing (UAT).
This is a hands-on role that requires close collaboration with end users and business stakeholders to ensure the delivery of quality systems that meet operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and execution strategies aligned to business requirements.
Lead and support end-to-end testing, regression testing, and UAT phases across core Finance and HR systems.
Engage directly with business users to validate outcomes, manage test cycles, and track issues to resolution.
Identify, document, and manage defects using tools like JIRA.
Provide test reporting and insights to the Test Manager and project leadership.
Support and guide junior testers and contribute to quality assurance best practices.
Skills and Experience Required
Proven experience as a Test Analyst or Senior Tester in enterprise project environments.
Strong domain knowledge of at least one major Finance or HR system (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, Workday, D365).
Demonstrated experience with user-focused testing including UAT and stakeholder validation.
Proficiency in JIRA and Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders.
ISTQB certification or similar would be advantageous.
