Zensar is looking for an experienced Senior Test Analyst to play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital platforms. In this role, you will design and execute robust test strategies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the development of innovative digital solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing
Test Strategy & Planning
- Develop comprehensive test plans, approaches, and scope for projects and incidents.
- Provide test effort estimates and contribute to improved testing methodologies.
- Establish and implement effective test data management strategies.
- Provide guidance to automation test analysts within the Zensar Digital environment.
- Liaise with external test service suppliers to ensure effective prioritization, planning, delivery, and reporting of testing outcomes.
- Execute quality assurance procedures to ensure digital tools and services meet or exceed organizational standards and end-user expectations.
- Collaborate on performance testing, device testing, penetration testing, and user acceptance testing.
Requirements Analysis
- Review and analyze functional requirements to ensure clarity, completeness, and correctness.
- Understand business capabilities and requirements to develop relevant testing scenarios.
- Ensure testing efforts align with business objectives and system functionality.
Test Scenario & Test Case Development
- Define test scenarios and create detailed manual and automated test cases.
- Design end-to-end test cases to ensure comprehensive functionality coverage.
- Define test targets and objectives in collaboration with the manager and project stakeholders.
- Review test coverage with Business Analysts to ensure alignment with requirements.
- Maintain traceability between requirements and test cases.
Test Execution
- Manage and execute test preparation and execution activities.
- Identify and generate required test data.
- Execute scenario-based test cases.
- Analyze quality metrics to assess test outcomes and product quality.
Reporting & Metrics
- Track test coverage and defect clearance.
- Contribute to test metrics and reporting across both manual and automated testing.
- Collaborate with project and testing teams to resolve issues and communicate status updates.
Defect Management
- Debug test scripts during development and execution.
- Analyze test failures and identify root causes.
- Prioritize and manage defects with development teams.
Test Automation
- Contribute to the development of automation scripts for regression testing.
- Identify opportunities to increase automation coverage across the testing lifecycle.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Work closely with Business Analysts to support and monitor UAT activities.
- Ensure all digital services meet organizational standards and business requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of relevant software testing experience.
- Testing certification such as ISTQB (Test Analyst, Automation Test Analyst, or similar) is advantageous.
- Proven experience in test automation is highly preferred.
- Strong experience in software testing methodologies, including Agile, functional and non-functional testing.
- Hands-on experience with test planning, test case development, execution, and quality assessment.
