About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Automation Consultant to join our client’s development team in Stockholm. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about test automation, sustainable testing strategies, and collaboration with development teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing automation processes, improving existing frameworks, and ensuring long-term efficiency in testing practices.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with developers to enhance and expand test automation
Design, implement, and maintain automated test and integration flows
Continuously improve existing test automation frameworks and processes
Work with cross-functional teams in Stockholm and Landskrona (some travel required for onboarding and knowledge sharing)
Operate in a hybrid work environment, with a minimum of three days per week in the office, particularly during the initial phase
Communicate effectively in both Swedish and English within the team
Requirements
Extensive experience in test automation at a senior level
Strong background in working closely with development teams to integrate testing into the development lifecycle
A deep understanding of sustainable and long-term testing strategies
Proven ability to mentor and guide developers on best testing practices
Based in Stockholm, with flexibility to engage with test engineers in Landskrona when needed
Additional Information
Consultants must complete mandatory data protection and IT security training during onboarding (approximately five non-billable hours)
This role is focused exclusively on test automation – manual testers need not apply
The client is cost-conscious, so competitive pricing is expected
