We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Engineer – Finacle to join our team for a critical banking project in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Finacle core banking solutions, leveraging their deep expertise in Finacle modules and comprehensive software testing methodologies within the banking domain.
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Strategy: Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and approaches for various Finacle modules and functionalities, aligning with project goals and release cycles.
Test Case Development & Execution: Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data for Finacle core banking solutions, covering functional, non-functional, integration, and regression testing.
Defect Management: Accurately identify, log, track, and retest defects using designated defect management tools. Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Module Expertise: Apply in-depth testing knowledge across various Finacle modules, including but not limited to:
CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
CASA (Current Account Savings Account)
Loans
Payments
And other relevant Finacle functionalities.
Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to testing best practices, standards, and processes throughout the software development lifecycle.
Reporting: Prepare and present clear, concise test reports, progress updates, and defect summaries to project stakeholders and management.
Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, developers, and other QA team members to understand requirements, clarify functionalities, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5 – 7 years of progressive experience in software testing, with a significant focus on projects within the banking domain.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience specifically testing Finacle core banking solutions.
Demonstrable expertise in Finacle modules such as CRM, CASA, Loans, Payments, and others.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM).
