Senior Test Manager – Hybrid – Banking
(6-Month Contract, likely to be extended)
€500 – €600 per day
We are working with one of Ireland’s leading banks to place a Senior Test Manager on a day rate contract to support the development of a best in class banking app.
Key Requirements:
10+ years in IT, ideally within banking
5+ years of test management experience
Strong in product testing, E2E test management, and leadership
Expertise in test automation and agile methodologies
Techno-functional background with knowledge of banking app architecture
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor global QA teams for project delivery
Develop test strategies, ensuring alignment with Agile methodology and automation
Conduct quality reviews and guide test deliverables
Manage KPIs, test schedules, project costs, and risks
Provide testing status updates and escalate issues as needed
Collaborate with stakeholders to meet project goals
Implement continuous improvement in testing processes
Skills & Experience:
Strong understanding of multi-tier web and mobile app testing
Knowledge of dev-ops, CI/CD tools, Jira/Zephyr, and test management
Proven ability to lead large test teams and manage complex projects
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Experience in test strategy, planning, scheduling, and reporting
Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
