Position: Senior Test Manager / Coordinator – Application Deadline: 18-03-2025
Location:Â Brussels or Antwerp, Belgium
Remote Work Possibility: yes (2-3 days a week on the client´s office)
Type of Contract:Â Permanent Contract preferably
Mandatory Languages: Dutch, French, and English (C1 minimum)
Eligibility:Â Candidates must possess European nationality or a valid work permit for Belgium.
ROLE DESCRIPTION The Senior Test Manager/Coordinator oversees all testing activities, including planning, execution, and reporting. They are responsible for creating key deliverables such as the Master Test Plan and ensuring the overall quality of the system under test.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with the team to define test objectives.
Ensure necessary resources, data, and environments are available.
Implement testing methodologies and best practices.
Develop and maintain the Master Test Plan.
Plan, coordinate, and monitor IT and Business Test activities.
Manage the test team and track progress.
Conduct post-test evaluations and document lessons learned.
Advocate for shift-left testing and agile methodologies.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS
Higher education or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Knowledge of ISTQB, TMap, and other test design techniques.
Experience with test management and automation tools (e.g., Jira, Tricentis Tosca).
Understanding of ITIL, Quality Assurance, and Risk Management.
SOFT SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
Leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years of experience in testing and test management.
Experience in leading multiple small projects or one large-scale project.
Location: Brussels or Antwerp (partial remote work possible).
Primary Responsibilities:
Customer & Distribution (50%): Define and manage test phases, coordinate testers, provide reporting.
DORA Compliance (50%): Set up a test structure to comply with DORA guidelines.
