Senior Manual Tester – Banking Industry
Location: Gdynia, Poland (2–3 days per week in the office)
Are you an experienced QA professional passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions? Join an international team within the banking sector and play a key role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of modern digital products.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive and support quality assurance activities across the delivery team, ensuring compliance with established QA standards and best practices.
- Analyze requirements and design comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
- Plan, execute, and document manual testing activities.
- Identify, report, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Evaluate test results and provide recommendations to improve product quality.
- Collaborate closely with Automation Testers to ensure optimal test coverage and efficient regression testing.
- Work proactively with Scrum teams to maintain high delivery quality and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Must-Have Experience & Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, preferably within Agile environments.
- Proven experience in defining, executing, and reporting tests for complex software systems.
- Strong background in web and mobile application testing.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack or similar solutions.
- Experience in system testing of modern web and mobile user interfaces.
- Practical experience with API testing using tools such as Postman and Swagger.
- Familiarity with test management tools (qTest or similar).
- Strong working knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
- ISTQB certification.
- Ability to lead and support QA activities within cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience working in international environments.
- Fast learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes.
- Comfortable working independently as an individual contributor.
Nice to Have
- Experience with test automation.
- Knowledge of the PEGA platform.
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools and solutions.
- Experience working within SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environments.
