Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior UAT Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to ensure business and system requirements are met before deployment. This role requires strong testing expertise, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work closely with business users, developers, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for software applications and system enhancements.
- Review and analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
- Develop UAT test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders to validate business requirements and expected outcomes.
- Execute manual testing and document test results, defects, and issues.
- Track, manage, and retest defects to ensure successful resolution.
- Facilitate UAT meetings, walkthroughs, and status updates with project teams.
- Ensure all testing deliverables are completed within project timelines.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Quality Assurance teams, and Project Managers throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and testing best practices.
Qualification:
- Minimum of 5 years of pure software testing experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field .
- Proven experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for enterprise applications and systems.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Strong defect management and issue-tracking experience.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to interpret business and functional requirements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall environments.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
