My client is seeking a Production Team Lead that will be responsible for leading, coaching, and motivating a team of operators. Your focus will be on achieving key targets related to safety, quality, efficiency, and overall performance
About the Role:
Lead, coach, and motivate a team ofoperators.
Ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and performance targets are met.
Oversee team activities and ensure smooth handovers between shifts.
Collaborate with team leaders from other departments.
Participate in cross-functional meetings with departments such as Quality and R&D.
Develop and implement projects focused on quality and process improvements.
Guide and support the team in executing these improvements.
Handle administrative tasks, including workforce planning adjustments and monitoring production deviations.
Report directly to the Unit Manager.
About You:
You have a background in Bio-Chemical or Chemical, or a related field (Candidates with direct experience in production environment don’t need specific background knowledge)
You are fluent in Dutch.
You enjoy working with people and have strong leadership skills.
You are an enthusiastic coach who can motivate and inspire a team.
You have excellent communication and listening skills.
You possess strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
You are proficient in Excel; experience with SAP (is a plus).
