Quality Control/Packaging and Shipping Clerk
Shift: M-F 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Design To Print is currently seeking a Packing/Shipping and Quality Control Specialist to work in our busy graphic production department. This position includes inspecting, packaging and shipping fabric graphics, signs, decals, vinyl banners, billboards & trade show booths, and other printed materials.
As part of our production team, you may also receive training on print production work utilizing a variety of equipment, laminators, C&C router, hand tools and industrial sewing machines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Proof finished signs to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Package work and prepare for shipment.
- Identify and organize the most efficient delivery methods and routes.
- Assist other functions in graphic production and installation departments. Includes graphic finishing, laminating, etc.
Requirements:
- Above average attention to detail.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and with others in a cooperative, enthusiastic, friendly manner.
- Ability to adhere and apply clearly defined policies and/or procedures, solve problems when clear choices exist, consult with supervisor when questions arise.
- Ability to safely lift, move or carry objects weighing 50+ lbs without assistance of others.
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG TEST (including THC).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16-18.00 per hour training wage, depending on experience.
