Position: Shredder Inspector (Afternoons)
Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Inspector to join our Shredder Department. This position requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of ferrous/non ferrous metals, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
What you’re responsible for:
- Conducting thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing materials to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Identify and segregating non-conforming materials, such as contaminants or prohibited items
- Utilizing appropriate tools and equipment to measure and verify the weight, dimensions, and composition materials
- Collaborating with the operations team to coordinate the movement and storage of materials within the yard
- Communicating and reporting any deviations from quality standards
Qualifications
