Primary Function:
Assigns work schedules, trains associates in warehouse processes and monitor’s associates’ progress.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform the duties of a position being lead.
Conduct training for new associates.
Maintain legible and accurate records or logs as required.
Review documents prepared by associates of the work group for accuracy and legibility.
Monitor and direct performance of associates within the work group.
Open and/or close and secure the building as directed.
Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.
Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates as required.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Education/Background Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
One year of related work experience required.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Working knowledge of warehouse and business processes.
Good leadership, written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules.
Ability to read, understand, follow directions and instructions.
Working Conditions:
Warehouse environment and refrigerated environment.
