The Site QA/QC Inspector deals with all quality assurance and quality control issues on-site, ensuring that all work complies with project specifications and standards.
What will you do?
Verifying that products meet specifications and standards.
Performing visual inspections of material receiving and installation works to ensure conformity with project requirements.
Using measuring tools and equipment to check product dimensions.
Identifying and reporting any defects or non-conformities.
Working with the operations team to correct any issues.
Recording and maintaining inspection data.
Preparing daily inspection requests to customers as needed.
Preparing Inspection and Test Plans (ITP).
Preparing inspection reports or test reports for each piece of equipment that meets requirements.
Preparing two weeks look-ahead inspection schedules.
Assisting in the preparation of QC monthly reports.
Preparing and reviewing quality-related procedures.
Monitoring and inspecting all related QA/QC documentation, site installation readiness, and testing activities.
Education & Skills Required:
At least five (5) years of experience in engineering and construction projects, managing day-to-day site QA/QC activities.
Graduate of BS Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
Knowledge of engineering standards, including international standards such as NEC, IEC, ISO, etc.
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.
Competencies / Skills Required:
Certification in ISO 9001:2015.
Preferably a Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE).
Computer literate with skills in Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
