Role – Site Quality Manager

Location – Greifswald, Germany (On site role)

  • The Site Quality Manager creates, maintains, and reviews the implementation of the site quality plan, ensuring compliance with contractual, legal, and internal requirements. They manage quality activities on the construction site throughout the construction process.
  • They report on site quality activities and coordinate related quality interfaces. They ensure transparent communication with clients, project teams, subcontractors, and the Quality department regarding quality-related issues.

  • Quality Management (Quality Assurance and Quality Control)
  • Preferable background in civil works and construction
  • Fluent German skills

Customer Service

  • Ensure that customer requirements are fully identified, verified, and considered in all on-site activities.
  • Ensure that the customer is informed of any quality issues and progress on the construction site.
  • Ensure that quality-related customer inquiries are communicated and addressed on-site with appropriate responsiveness.
  • Ensure that any customer complaints and feedback are systematically recorded, tracked, and coordinated with the Project Manager (PM) and the Project Quality Manager (PQM).

Site Quality

  • Prepare, implement, update, and execute the site quality plan in coordination with the Project Manager and Project Quality Manager
  • Ensuring delivery of quality-conform construction in regard to design.
  • Making awareness on Quality Duties to the ONSHORE SITE team.
  • Proposing quality prevention measures upstream of the process to minimize the amount of non-conformance occurring during construction work.
  • Ensuring proper application of quality process for employees and external suppliers on site.
  • Review work processes and methods for compliance with contract requirements, manufacturer specifications, and best practices
  • Coordinate and monitor the implementation of the relevant inspection and testing plans for on-site activities by subcontractors and to ensure proper preparation of work prior to inspection
  • Maintain transparent communication with the client and project team regarding all quality activities on the site
  • Reporting transversely to ONSHORE Site Manager, OW4 Quality Manager, and on request to ONSHORE Senior Project Manager.

Essential skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction or an equivalent professional qualification
  • Relevant experience in quality management, quality assurance, and quality control within project environments
  • Proven track record in project execution
  • Practical experience in construction and commissioning, with a sound understanding of materials, methods, and techniques
