Brief Overview:
An exciting leadership opportunity is available for a Quality Director to oversee and manage the Quality Management program at a leading healthcare system in Los Angeles County. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, data-driven leader with a commitment to continuous improvement and ethical practices. Reporting to both the Director of Risk Management & Patient Safety and the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), you will play a key role in ensuring the organization’s quality initiatives align with best practices and drive measurable improvements.
Job Description:
As the Quality Director, you will lead the organization’s Quality Management program, working closely with senior leadership to develop and implement quality initiatives across the healthcare system. You will have a direct impact on patient safety, performance improvement, and organizational efficiency. Your role will require strong communication, collaboration, and a focus on data-driven decision-making to ensure continuous improvement in healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the organization’s Quality Management program.
Work closely with the Director of Risk Management & Patient Safety and CNO to implement quality initiatives.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
Develop and manage key performance indicators to monitor quality outcomes.
Collaborate with hospital leadership to improve patient care and safety.
Provide strategic leadership and guidance for quality assurance programs and initiatives.
Drive peer review and regulatory compliance activities.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in acute care quality management.
Proven supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
Current California RN license or equivalent clinical certification.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Experience in peer review processes.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
