About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Software Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Corporate Manufacturing Engineering team. This role requires on-site presence for at least four days per week and offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of research, development, and manufacturing operations. As a key member of the QA team, you will collaborate closely with product management, developers, and cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and compliance of manufacturing systems and software deployed across our global manufacturing sites. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing comprehensive test cases, analyzing software defects, and qualifying product process plans that support hearing aid manufacturing and servicing. You will also contribute to the automation framework, participate in special projects, and help refine team processes to elevate our quality assurance standards.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in QA methodologies, test design techniques, risk-based testing, and defect lifecycle management
  • ISTQB or equivalent certification is a strong asset
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
  • Experience in regulated environments such as medical devices or industrial manufacturing software (preferred)
  • Proficiency in programming and automated testing frameworks (a plus)
  • Knowledge of data analytics, dashboards, and visualization tools (a plus)
  • Familiarity with acoustics and electronics (a plus)
  • Fluency in English

Responsibilities

  • Support validation activities within a regulated environment, ensuring compliance with applicable standards
  • Collaborate with product management, developers, and QA team members to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Develop clear, traceable, and comprehensive test cases and document test results
  • Contribute to testing strategies, including risk-based testing and automation approaches
  • Plan and execute functional, regression, and integration testing, including qualification of product process plans with traceability to requirements
  • Engage in non-functional testing such as usability and performance assessments where applicable
  • Apply exploratory testing techniques to identify potential issues proactively
  • Identify, document, and track defects, perform root cause analysis, and verify bug fixes
  • Maintain effective communication with team members regarding testing progress, issues, and timelines
  • Contribute to the configuration and continuous improvement of the QA test automation framework
  • Collaborate across teams to enhance testing processes and QA tooling
  • Lead or participate in initiatives such as retrospectives, knowledge sharing, and process refinement
