About This Role:
Veranex has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Preclinical Quality Assurance Associate. You will be part of a team working to improve lives globally through medical technology innovation. The Senior Preclinical Quality Assurance Associate engages and collaborates with cross-functional teams to evaluate processes, procedures, and activities for adherence to relevant industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and company standard operating procedures (SOPs).
What You Will Do:
Manage daily document control activities including packet tracking, document review/quality review, and associated administrative tasks.
Administer document changes and coordinate review, approval and releases.
Assist users with document control activities, including creating new documents, document revisions, system navigation, etc.
Executes elements of the training process, onboard new-hires and schedule training within the Document Control System, maintain training records, collaborate with managers to ensure staff have correct training assigned and that training is completed on time.
Generate and distribute metric reports for document control activities, training status, deviation and corrective action items to stakeholders.
Support vendor management activities by ensuring suppliers and vendors are added to the AVL as required per procedure.
Assist in process improvement and initiatives as assigned by the manager.
Other quality systems activities, such as supporting continual improvement, deviation management/CAPA, and audit findings, as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
Required skills:
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
3-6 years of relevant work experience
Experience working in eQMS system, preferably MasterControl
Working understanding of GLP, USDA, and Good Documentation Practices
Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with various departments.
Experience reading and revising SOPs, work instructions, forms, and training modules.
Strong multi-tasking skills and ability adapt to ongoing change by prioritizing tasks.
Demonstrated ability to perform detail-oriented work with a high degree of accuracy and completeness.
Effective knowledge of maintaining a document control system.
Highly organized with strong planning skills.
Preferred:
Knowledge of the medical device industry
