Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to support our Quality Department in key inspection activities and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for maintaining high standards in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Final Inspection
Perform and support daily final inspection activities, ensuring quality requirements are met.
Maintain a clean, organized, and manageable inspection area.
Notify the Quality Specialist and Department Group Lead when non-conformances are identified.
Verify accuracy and completion of in-process inspection sheets.
Receiving Inspection
Perform receiving inspections as needed to ensure raw materials (including hardware and other purchased components) meet acceptance standards.
Complete and submit required documentation to the Quality Engineer.
Roaming Inspection
Support the Quality Department in completing daily roaming inspections across the facility.
Help identify opportunities to streamline the roaming and final inspection processes.
Continuous Improvement
Identify improvement opportunities on production drawings (e.g., clarity, feasibility, additional required information).
Submit ideas through the company’s suggestion system.
Support other continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Previous experience in a manufacturing quality role preferred.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic understanding of quality inspection processes and tools.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
