Software QA Lead
Seeking a talented and motivated Software QA Lead to join our dynamic QA team. As a QA Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the design, development, and execution of manual & automated tests.
This is a 12-month contract position working a regular business week, hybrid home/office with 3 of 4 rotating scheduled days Monday-Thursday in office and Fri work from home. Occasionally, based on need, could be up to 5 days in office.
Candidates must reside in Nashville.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain manual and automated test scripts and frameworks to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
Create and execute manual and automated test cases, regression tests, and integration tests to detect defects and ensure software quality.
Create and maintain Test documentation, including Test Plans / Test Strategies
Collaborate with developers to understand software requirements, design, and architecture to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Identify, document, and track software defects, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
Participate in test planning, test strategy, and test case reviews to ensure thorough test coverage.
Continuously improve and optimize manual and automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Stay up to date with industry best practices, tools, and trends in QA.
Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Top 5 Experience & Skills Required:
Advanced level experience in software QA automation, including designing and implementing test scripts and frameworks.
Intermediate level experience with one or more automated testing tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG etc.
Advanced level understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
Intermediate level experience with performance testing
Intermediate level understanding of JIRA and JQL Query
Authorized to work in the United States
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $45.00 – $55.00 per hour
