2. About the Opportunity:

The Software Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and readiness of web-based applications throughout the software development lifecycle. This role contributes to high-quality software releases by partnering with product, engineering, and business teams to design and execute comprehensive test strategies, identify risks early, and support continuous improvement of quality assurance practices.

3. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, and cases aligned with business and technical requirements

• Execute manual and automated testing including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests

• Identify, track, and validate defects, collaborating with engineering to verify fixes and support production

• Assess risks and provide clear reporting on test execution, defect status, and deployment readiness

• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and support user acceptance testing

• Support global and release operations through off-hours testing and early-morning collaboration with offshore teams

• Promote continuous improvement of QA standards and metrics

4. Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience

• Experience as a mid-level QA Engineer or Analyst with end-to-end testing across multiple releases

• Strong knowledge of SDLC and quality assurance principles in Agile/Scrum environments

• Hands-on experience designing and executing test plans for web-based and API-driven applications

• Proficiency with defect tracking and test management tools

• Experience working in cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and business stakeholders

• Knowledge of relational databases and ability to query data for testing

• Familiarity with testing specialties such as automation, API testing, or non-functional testing

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to pass comprehensive background checks

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Annual compensation between $80,000 – $92,000, plus an annual performance-based, discretionary incentive

• Compensation depends on factors such as skills, education, certifications, experience, and market data
