Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Receiving Inspector monitor and inspect all incoming deliveries to ensure quality of items and order accuracy.
Receiving Inspector inspects and measures items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and functional operation, according to blueprints, parts manuals, company or military standards, and other specifications, using precision measuring instruments and devices.
Receiving Inspector completes First Article Inspections when required and as requested by Engineering or Quality Manager.
Receiving Inspector reviews Supplier Performance (NCMs) data on monthly basis and determines when a Vendor Corrective Action Request is required to drive improvements in incoming quality.
Receiving Inspector completes timely and accurate stock sweeps and coordinates disposition on NCMs in events of material discrepancy detection.
Receiving Inspector is responsible for managing MRB inventory and ensuring correctness of material movements in the ERP system.
Receiving inspector helps with the management of the calibration system and internal audits
Receiving inspector completes periodic “out of box” audits on outgoing shipments to ensure compliance to customer purchase orders requirements

Position Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds periodically, as some product packages are large
Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing
Interpersonal skills are essential for Quality Department personnel
Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance
Personal accountability and integrity are paramount for all Quality Department personnel

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong written and verbal written communication skills.
Excellent problem solving and time management skills.
Ability to effectively multi-task in our fast-paced environment.
Provide a high level of professionalism and well with other team members.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook
