Key Responsibilities
- Manual & Functional Testing: Perform end-to-end functional, UI/UX, regression, and sanity testing for web dashboards, API integrations, and mobile applications (Android/iOS).
- Test Documentation: Design, write, and maintain detailed test cases, test scenarios, and bug reports on project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or ClickUp).
- API Testing: Validate backend REST APIs, webhooks, and real-time data payloads using tools like Postman.
- IoT & System Testing: Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to test system workflows—ensuring data accurately flows from IoT devices/telemetry streams to cloud dashboards and trigger notifications.
- Defect Tracking: Identify, reproduce, document, and track software bugs through to resolution while collaborating closely with developers.
- Quality Assurance Standards: Ensure releases meet performance, usability, and reliability standards prior to deployment.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE), Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of proven experience in Software Quality Assurance (SQA) for web and mobile platforms.
- Core Skills:
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Hands-on experience writing clear, concise, and structured test cases and bug reports.
- Proficiency in manual API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Basic familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JSON formats, HTTP response codes).
- Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bangla.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience testing platforms that handle real-time data, IoT telemetry, or sensor dashboards.
- Basic understanding of automated testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright).
- Experience with database queries (MongoDB / SQL) to verify data persistence.
