SimSyn Pvt Ltd is looking for a passionate and technically strong Lead QA Engineer to join our product engineering team.
We are seeking someone who takes ownership of quality from concept to delivery – not someone who sees QA as the final step before release. The ideal candidate will actively participate throughout the development lifecycle, understand the business objectives behind features, and help the team deliver reliable, scalable, and high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of product quality and release readiness.
- Participate in requirement discussions, solution design reviews, and sprint planning activities.
- Identify risks, gaps, edge cases, and quality concerns early in the development lifecycle.
- Design, execute, and maintain functional, integration, regression, and exploratory test plans.
- Define and drive test automation initiatives and quality engineering best practices.
- Plan and execute performance, load, and scalability testing.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality is built into the product from day one.
- Analyze defects, assist in root cause identification, and help drive preventive improvements.
- Mentor QA engineers and contribute to building a strong quality-focused engineering culture.
- Continuously improve QA processes, tools, metrics, and standards.
Requirements
- Strong experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Solid technical understanding of web applications, APIs, databases, and distributed systems.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective quality strategies.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and automation planning.
- Experience with API testing and integration testing.
- Knowledge of performance and load testing methodologies and tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively identify quality risks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience leading or mentoring QA teams.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, k6, or similar.
- Understanding of security testing principles.
- Experience with SaaS, enterprise, or communication platforms.
