With a client base ranging from small manufacturers to global enterprises, we are dedicated to driving the future of smart manufacturing.
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of the TME platform. This role blends hands-on manual testing with automated test development to validate new features, integrations, and bug fixes across web applications, APIs, and data workflows. The ideal candidate is passionate about preventing defects early, improving test coverage through automation, and partnering closely with Product and Engineering to deliver high-quality releases.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning & Design: Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data based on requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Manual Testing: Execute functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and end-to-end tests across web UI workflows and integrations; document results clearly.
Automation Development: Design, build, and maintain automated test suites (UI and/or API) to improve coverage and reduce repetitive manual effort.
Defect Management: Identify, reproduce, and document defects with clear steps, expected/actual results, logs, and screenshots; verify fixes and prevent regressions.
API & Data Validation: Validate API endpoints and data flows (e.g., request/response payloads, database checks) to ensure correctness and consistency.
CI/CD Collaboration: Integrate automated tests into build/release pipelines where applicable
and help monitor test results to support fast, reliable releases.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Support to clarify requirements, improve testability, and provide risk-based quality feedback.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to QA processes, metrics, and documentation; recommend tooling and practices that improve quality and team efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: 3+ years of software QA experience with a mix of manual and automated testing (SaaS and/or enterprise web applications preferred).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Manual QA Skills: Strong ability to design test cases, execute exploratory testing, and perform risk-based testing with excellent attention to detail.
Test Automation: Hands-on experience building/maintaining automated tests using one or more common frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium) and/or API automation (e.g., Postman).
Programming/Scripting: Comfortable with at least one language used for test automation (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#) and writing maintainable test code.
Tools: Proficiency with Azure DevOps (or similar), test case management practices, and version control (Git); familiarity with CI tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) is a plus.
Technical Testing: Ability to validate APIs and data (e.g., JSON, HTTP, SQL basics) and interpret logs to support troubleshooting and triage.
Communication & Collaboration: Clear written/verbal communication and a team-first mindset when working across Product and Engineering.
