Software Quality Assurance Specialist Jobs in McLean, VA at Booz Allen
Urban Engineers of New York, D.P.C. is seeking qualified individuals to join our Facilities CM Department as Civil Construction Inspector. This position will be supporting upcoming projects at the JFK.
Responsibilities:
Schedule inspections, observation of field testing, and commissioning.
Provide QA inspection of airfield civil construction associated with airport terminal construction.
Assists in the preparation and negotiations of construction change orders and the preparation of weekly / monthly project reports.
Responsible for maintaining managing reports, daily narratives, quantities installed, classified logs and time and material tickets.
Attend project progress meetings and distribute meeting minutes.
Responsible for site safety, permit compliance and coordination with other adjacent projects.
Monitor Contractors conformance with drawings and specifications.
Coordinate utility shutdowns with Contractor and facility forces.
Monitor Contractor compliance with the Contractors Safety and Health Plan and with specific safe work plans and ensures Contractors compliance with the approved Contractors Quality Plan.
Work with the Contractor to minimize disruptions to the public.
Prepare punch lists with the owner upon completion of the project.
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of civil construction and airfield construction inspection experience.
Full time onsite position.
Ability to pass background and security checks and get SIDA badge for access to sterile and secure areas of airport facilities.
OSHA 30 certification
Experience with FAA specifications preferred.
