Texas GovLink, Inc. is an Austin-based firm which has been a leading provider of technical and business professionals to clients in Texas. We are currently seeking an experienced Software QA Tester to be a key resource on a technical services team.

Responsibilities
The Software QA Engineer performs advanced and/or supervisory computer systems analysis and team lead work, administering the daily operations and activities of testing teams within the Quality Assurance (QA) section of IT-SEDS (Information Technology – Statewide Education Data System). Work involves planning, budgeting, and analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing systems.
This position will work with the CCMS development team to provide the following Software Testing Services:
- Perform end-to-end testing of CCMS application features without fully defined or detailed requirements
- Leverage AI tools to generate test estimate, automation test cases, and improve test coverage
- Work with development team and customers to clearly understand the functionality under test to define and implement test case automation and clearly communicate to the team
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring clear reproduction steps and impact analysis
- Participant in team discussions to improve testing strategies, quality processes, and delivery timelines
- Execute performance and accessibility testing

- Experience with Complaint and Case Management System or similar case management system
- Experience with AI-based testing tools or automation frameworks
- Strong working knowledge of both Bit bucket and GitHub Copilot skills
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
7 years of:
- Years Experience Testing Complex WebApplications
6 years of:
- Years Automation Experience with Java and TestNG
5 years of:
- Years Expertise in SQL
4 years of:
- Years Experience with Playwright
- Year Experience with Workflow Driven Automation
- Years Experience with JMeter/WAPT Pro or other Load Testing tool
3 years of:
- Years Experience with GitHub Copilot and Bitbucket Skills
Preferred:
3 years of:
- Previous experience with Zypher Scale preferred
- Previous experience with Jira preferred
