The Bryk Group is an established Melbourne-based software company working with some of the biggest brands in the financial services industry. We are embarking on an exciting project with a leading local client and looking for an experienced QA Tester with a strong interest in financial systems to join our collaborative development team.
This role offers a flexible hybrid work environment, with a mix of remote work and time spent in the office, as well as opportunities to collaborate closely with clients both onsite and remotely.
Your key responsibilities will include:
– Creating, designing, executing and maintaining test strategies tailored to financial software systems.
– Building and executing test cases to validate complex financial transactions and reporting workflows.
– Conducting acceptance, functional and regression testing with an emphasis on accuracy, compliance and security.
– Deploying and maintaining test environments, including test data management for financial use cases.
– Investigating and reporting issues, ensuring alignment with financial regulatory and business requirements.
Your skills and experience:
– 3+ years’ experience as a Software QA Analyst or Tester.
– Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
– Experience testing financial management systems, banking platforms or fintech applications (essential / highly desirable depending on preference).
– ISTQB Foundation Certificate (preferred).
– Familiarity with Agile development and collaborative team environments.
– Strong communication skills and keen attention to detail.
– Exposure to automated testing frameworks will be highly regarded.
