Job Summary:
We are seeking a Quality Control Specialist with a strong background in electric vehicle (EV) technology to join our team in Greenville, SC. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in quality control, inspection, and compliance within the EV or related industries. This role is critical in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspections and quality assurance tests on EV components, systems, and final products.
Develop and implement quality control procedures to maintain compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
Identify and resolve quality issues, conducting root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions.
Work closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure quality consistency.
Maintain detailed quality documentation and generate reports on inspection findings.
Stay updated on EV industry standards, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve quality control processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control, preferably in EV technology, automotive, or advanced manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of quality inspection tools, testing methodologies, and regulatory compliance in the EV industry.
Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other quality management systems is a plus.
Ability to analyze technical drawings, schematics, and specifications for quality assurance.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with battery technology, power electronics, or electric drivetrains.
Certification in Quality Control, Six Sigma, or related fields is a plus.
Proficiency in using quality inspection software and reporting tools.
