Job Overview
We are looking for Software Test Engineers to support software quality assurance across enterprise application development and enhancement projects.
Depending on your experience, you may focus on Manual Testing, Automation Testing, or a combination of both. You will work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and project stakeholders to validate application functionality, identify defects, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
Candidates with strong manual testing experience are welcome to apply, while candidates with hands-on automation experience using Tricentis Tosca, Tricentis NeoLoad, Selenium, or similar tools will be considered for automation-focused opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Software Testing
- Develop and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and testing documentation based on business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
- Execute functional, system integration, regression, smoke, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Analyze test results, identify defects, assess impact, and work with relevant teams to resolve issues.
- Log, monitor, and track defects using test management and issue tracking tools.
- Prepare test execution and status reports highlighting testing progress, results, risks, and issues.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and project stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve testing issues.
- Support business users during UAT, including test coordination, issue tracking, and validation.
Manual Testing
- Perform end-to-end manual testing across web, desktop, and application environments.
- Create and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) to ensure adequate test coverage.
- Prepare and manage test data using SQL queries and other supporting tools.
- Validate system functionality against business and functional requirements.
Automation Testing
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca, Tricentis NeoLoad, Selenium, or equivalent automation tools.
- Build reusable and scalable automation components to improve testing efficiency and reduce maintenance effort.
- Develop automated test cases covering functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
- Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and investigate defects or application issues.
- Identify opportunities to increase automation coverage and improve overall testing efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Hands-on experience in manual testing and/or automation testing.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and test data preparation.
- For automation-focused candidates, hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca, Tricentis NeoLoad, Selenium, or equivalent automation testing tools is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams.
