Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to manage the quality assurance function, ensuring high-quality software delivery across all releases. The role includes leading QA activities across automation, and performance testing, while driving best practices and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the QA team
- Define and implement QA strategies, standards, and best practices
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Oversee manual, automated, and performance testing activities
- Develop and maintain performance test strategies (load, stress, scalability testing)
- Identify system bottlenecks and performance issues and work with development teams to resolve them
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery
- Track, document, and manage defects through resolution
- Monitor and report QA and performance metrics (e.g., response time, throughput, defect leakage)
- Ensure full regression coverage before releases
- Participate in release planning, risk assessment, and production readiness
- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and frameworks
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in software testing
- 2+ years in a QA leadership role
- Strong experience in automation & Performance testing
- Solid understanding of performance testing concepts (load, stress, endurance, scalability)
- Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance tests
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
