Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester to join our team. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA or similar bug tracking systems
- Verify defect fixes and conduct regression testing
- Validate software against requirements and design specifications
- Conduct compatibility testing across browsers, devices, and operating systems
- Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
- Create and maintain automated test scripts (where applicable)
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide testability feedback
- Monitor and report on quality metrics throughout the SDLC
- Stay current with testing methodologies and industry best practices
Qualifications And Skills
Technical Skills
- 2+ years of professional software testing experience
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes
- Experience with test management tools (TestRail, qTest, or similar)
- Proficiency in writing clear and detailed bug reports
- Familiarity with SQL for database validation
- Basic understanding of programming concepts
Testing Expertise
- Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing
- Knowledge of different testing types (functional, regression, smoke, etc.)
- Experience testing web and/or mobile applications
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
