Realtime Recruitment is seeking a skilled Manual Software Tester for a permanent position based in Dublin City Centre. This is a hands-on role within the financial services sector where you’ll be testing software that makes a real difference to end users. You’ll work closely with developers, analysts, and project teams to make sure everything runs smoothly — spotting bugs before they do any damage and helping deliver reliable, user-friendly systems.
Responsibilities
• Plan, design, and execute manual test cases based on business and technical requirements
• Work closely with development and business teams to understand project goals and timelines
• Log, track, and re-test defects using tools like JIRA or similar
• Carry out regression, functional, integration, and exploratory testing
• Provide feedback on usability, performance, and potential risks
• Document test results and clearly communicate findings
• Support the wider QA team in maintaining quality across all phases of delivery
Requirements
• At least 3 years’ experience in a Manual Testing role
• Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
• Experience with test case design and execution
• Experience with UAT.
• Comfortable using test management and bug tracking tools
• Strong communicator who can work with both technical and non-technical teams
• Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
• Experience testing web and/or mobile applications is a plus
