Location: Dublin/Hybrid (2 days per week required onsite)
Rate : €280 per day
12 month contract that will renew each year
Overview:
Our client is looking for a Software Developer in Test with 2+ years of experience in software testing and development. This role involves both manual and automation testing, with a focus on developing test automation suites, API testing, and working with modern testing tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and expand automation test suites.
Conduct test data preparation and masking.
Perform API and web service testing (REST & SOAP).
Work with testers, developers, and technical teams to ensure high-quality software.
Provide input on testing estimates and documentation.
Support testing processes throughout the Software Test Life Cycle.
Apply knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid development methodologies.
Experience needed
Strong programming knowledge in Java.
Experience with browser automation tools (e.g., Selenium).
Familiarity with Git version control and SQL databases.
Ability to define acceptance criteria for test cases.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
