About Esquseo
Esquseo (app.esquseo.com) is a new privacy-tech SaaS tool that helps organizations quickly understand their privacy compliance posture from public records. In just a few minutes, users get a structured report covering:
- Which data protection laws likely apply (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, PIPL, etc.)
- EU–US Data Privacy Framework participation (verified against the official registry)
- APEC / Global CBPR status
- Publicly stated security & privacy certifications (ISO 27001/27701, SOC 2, PCI DSS, etc.)
The tool is built for due diligence, vendor assessments, and quick triage. It was launched in early July 2026 by DUB SERVICES LLC, a privacy compliance consultancy based in Yerevan, Armenia.
We are a small, founder-led team and app.esquseo.com is our flagship product. We are now looking for our first dedicated tester to help us deliver a reliable, high-quality experience.
The Role
As Software Tester (QA) you will own the quality of the entire web application. You will work closely with the founder/developer to test new features, catch bugs early, improve reliability, and ensure the reports we generate are accurate and professional.
This is a high-impact role in a very early-stage product — your work will directly shape the user experience and trustworthiness of Esquseo.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough manual testing of the web app (core flows: sign-in via magic link, assessment creation, report generation, credit system, account management).
- Test across browsers, devices, and different jurisdictions/countries.
- Validate edge cases, input validation, and report accuracy (especially for known organizations).
- Document bugs clearly with steps to reproduce, screenshots, and expected vs actual behavior.
- Perform regression testing after updates and new feature releases.
- Test user-facing aspects: UX, responsiveness, loading states, error handling, and email flows.
- Collaborate with the developer to prioritize and verify fixes.
- Help establish lightweight QA processes and (later) contribute to test automation.
Requirements
- 1–4 years of experience in software testing / QA for web applications (SaaS experience is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach.
- Experience writing clear bug reports and working with issue trackers (Jira, Linear, GitHub Issues, etc.).
- Good understanding of web applications and common pitfalls.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, async environment.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
Nice to Have
- Experience with privacy, compliance, or legal-tech products.
- Basic knowledge of test automation (Playwright, Cypress, or similar) — you don’t need to be an expert yet.
- Familiarity with passwordless authentication flows.
- Experience testing applications that interact with external data sources or registries.
- ISTQB or similar certification.
What We Offer
- Fully remote project work with flexible hours.
- Direct impact — you will be one of the first team members shaping a live product.
- Opportunity to grow into a broader QA/DevOps role as the product scales.
- Competitive compensation (we are open to discussion based on experience and location).
- Free unlimited access to Esquseo for your own use and testing.
- Work on a meaningful product in the fast-growing privacy & compliance space.
