Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee quality, safety, and compliance on commercial solar projects. This role ensures installations meet company standards, code requirements, and project specifications from start to finish.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in solar (commercial preferred)
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Strong knowledge of commercial solar installations and safety standards
- Ability to read plans, electrical diagrams, and racking manuals
- Strong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to travel frequently
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred
- Journeyman Electrician License
- NABCEP Certification
- Prior QA/QC or inspection experience
- Knowledge of NEC, AHJ, and utility requirements
- Comfortable with tablets and field reporting software
Key Responsibilities
- Manage QA/QC on commercial solar job sites
- Perform site inspections for quality, safety, and code compliance
- Document daily progress with reports, photos, and drawings
- Identify and resolve installation issues
- Support commissioning and inspection approvals
- Travel up to 70%
